Muddiest Point

I am really, really frustrated with HTML & XML. Is this something I could even conceivably learn just by reading about it? I don't think so. This means, however, that I'm going to have to buckle down and actually use both and that really kind of frustrates and daunts me.

I'm very confused about html and xml too. I'm not 100% sure what the difference between the two is. HTML helps to structure the data, and XML helps to share already structured data?
I agree that the technical jargon adds to confusion. It's like trying to understand a new concept that is explained in a language I don't know to begin with.
Hopefully the assignment isn't too difficult with Dr. He's instructions. I plan to leave myself a lot of time to work on it.

I am not all that familiar with XML and only have limited experience with HTML but I think you should be okay once you get some time to actually play with it. I have found that just working with online tutorials has helped me a lot.
